This book follows Essie as she seeks to pursue a new life, new friendships, experiences and connections. Jill Mansell never lets us down with her characters and story line and with age and time her books just get better and better. This was no exception.

I loved exploring the characters history and reading about their connections as they bumped along together. Plus it’s full of a generational time span of people – characters that at their given age you <i> wish </i> you’ll end up like them.
