This was a book FULL of sunshine, and biscotti – it was the perfect read to bring me through the end of Summer. Bright, beautiful backdrops and stunning scenery were painted by Jenny Oliver throughout as she really transports you to the heart of Italy. I loved getting to know the characters bit by bit (although admittedly kept getting confused as to who was who and which couple was which…made sense in the end!) This book was different to the usual summer reads, because it had the addition of good food! Recipes and creating something together were at the heart of getting back into friendships and I loved that about this book. Made me want to bake! And read more of Oliver’s works!
