Join Bianca Gilliam to celebrate the launch of her debut novel, Bad Publicity, as she chats with Julie Mae Cohen at The Fairground, Weyhill. There will be time for Questions, bookish chatter & signing. Hosted by the Tea Leaves & Reads Bookshop which will be open from 12pm for browsing, the main event will start in The Fairground Hall opposite at 2pm until around 4pm. Ticket includes a welcome drink (tea or coffee).
Books purchased in advance from Tea Leaves & Reads or on the night can be signed by Bianca at the event and for those who are further away, will be shipped shortly after. Please order your books here for shipping.
Bianca Gillam is a London-based author and armchair expert on 80s and 90s rom-coms. Her poetry has been published in a variety of publications, and her lifelong interest in asking people how they met their partner has amassed an impressive collection of ‘meet-cutes’. She formerly worked in publishing, where she had the joy of editing a wide variety of brilliant authors; she was inspired by the books she published to write her own. Bad Publicity is her Debut novel.
Julie Mae Cohen is the Author of Eat Slay Love, a razor-sharp hilarious black comedy thriller, and currently writes novels under the name Julie Cohen and feminist thrillers under the name Julie Mae Cohen. She grew up in the western mountains of Maine, USA, and studied English Literature at Brown University and Cambridge University. She now lives in Berkshire with her family and her dog and teaches creative writing workshps for the University of Reading amongst others and is Vice President of the Romantic Novelists’ Association.

The Location
Tea Leaves & Reads is located at The Fairground in Weyhill, Hampshire.
The main event will be held at The Fairground Hall, opposite the bookshop. For accessibility queries please contact us or visit the village hall website.
Tickets
When you purchase a ticket you will receive an email receipt which will include your order number and name – these will be used to confirm entry to the event. Please keep this safe as this is your admission ticket on the day.
Parking & Travel
Available parking on-site is free.
Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable. Please note that there may be circumstances beyond our control that mean an Author cannot attend. In the unlikely event of full cancellation, Tea Leaves & Reads will initially transfer tickets to a new date. A refund will be given if an alternative date cannot be found.
