It was very fitting that the sunniest day of 2025 so far concluded with a beautifully warm and insightful evening in a stunning setting amidst the rolling hills of Houghton. It was a delight to be able to host an evening with Veronica Henry & Holly Hepburn in what truly felt like a French Château. The Glass House at Houghton Lodge welcomed everyone very warmly with a glass of something wonderful and what have since been deemed the ‘Best Canapes Ever’.
Unless we relocated to Provence itself, we couldn’t think of a better location for celebrating the start of Veronica Henry’s tour promoting the publication of One Night at the Château – published just this week.
Veronica read the Prologue of the book and you could have heard a pin drop – it is always a treat to hear an Author read their writing out, live at an event. Through Holly’s warm and inviting interview style, the Audience were able to have little insights and glimpses into Veronica’s writing life, the inspiration behind her latest book and some snippets from her earlier days in the writing rooms…
