Book nine in the Gina Harte series and Carla Kovach is still full keeping us on our toes. This was full of the suspenseful writing style that we’ve come to know and love with Carla’s books and the familiar characters with their own secrets and back stories. There are crimes to be resolved but also subtle links to the main characters own lives as their secrets are twisted in and around the cases that they are trying to solve. Another great addition to the Gina Harte series – perfect as a standalone book but very much enjoyed as part of this brilliant series!

Carla Kovach was born in Birmingham, UK and now resides in Redditch, Worcestershire. Author of supernatural drama ‘Flame,’ psychological thriller ‘To Let,’ crime thriller ‘Whispers Beneath the Pines, and romantic comedy ‘Meet Me at Marmaris Castle.’ Carla also writes stage and screen plays, some of which have been produced in the Worcestershire area.
