January was an epic reading month for me – this was mainly because I wasn’t well and I managed to get a few audiobooks in whilst trying to recover. But nevertheless I was really pleased with most of the books that I chose to read and awarded quite a light of five stars this month!

I have to say my favourites were discovering Emma Cooper’s books – The First Time I Saw You and The Songs of Us – both were absolutely stunning. I loved mixing up my reading with some pscyhological thrillers this month as well as some contemporary fiction and an illustrated book (Charlie Mackesy’s).
