The atmosphere was well and truly set for our first crime fiction evening of 2025. The sun hadn’t appeared all day, there was a fine wet mist in the air, and those who ventured out to the darkness of The Fairground were very brave. But it was oh so worth it!
Having several Authors talk in one evening and with multiple books published, there’s always a balance between what people may be interested in after the event and what to stock. Rest assured every single Authors’ books were snapped up after the event, with some spares for the bookshop!
Over 50 book-lovers joined us and with a hot coffee or tea in hand, settled in for an evening of dark deeds and crime insights. It was fascinating and we all agreed we could have listened to Heather, Louisa and Rachel talk for hours. It was truly brilliant and we either came away wanting to write a book or dive straight in and read one!
